The proposed reduction of $4.8 billion in funding from the State of California for the education of our children is unacceptable. It is a direct attack on the students who represent the future of our community, state, nation and world. It must not be allowed to stand. To that end, the Marin County Education Coalition has been formed to provide information and to organize the voices of parents, concerned citizens and educators to convey the message to the Governor and Legislature that a different approach must be found. This website reflects our dedication and commitment to achieve the goal of a solution that will “Save Our Schools.”
